his name is Coram and he’s a young man who wants to see the galaxy. he’s kind-hearted and steadfast and a little idealistic, and hasn’t really been broken by the war yet. kinda like George Bailey at the start of It’s A Wonderful Life, before all that fucking shit happens to him

he’s from a big family and is one of the middle sons so he’s learned to be quiet and self-sufficient and isn’t used to getting much attention. he wants to prove himself but would not really be able to recognize or admit to that.

He’s having trouble making friends in the army because even though he’s a good-natured and strong young man, he’s a little uptight and doesn’t like when the other soldiers are bein’ all rowdy and carryin’ on. also he has zero sense of humor. so y’know. it’s a little rough.

LOOK THIS IS IMPORTANT because it uh… enriches the multiplayer experience??? uh…. okay its not important at all I just like makin’ characters SO SUE ME >:[___]

people in mass effect don’t seem too bothered by sexual orientation or defining labels and things like that- even tony masseffect in the game was all “YO CORTEZ WHY AINT YOU HITTIN ON ME” so it must not bother him personally either- but conflict and inner sexual turmoil are always funnier than progressive acceptance so whatever

i thought of tony as straight until i saw vega and then could not conceive of playing a character who did not want to tap that
