okay I think mako was pretty clumsily written too, even though he was still my favorite (non-adult) character

but calling him a horribly disrespectful mistake because he’s an “insult to the memory of Mako Iwamatsu” is…. just the teensiest bit… overdramatic???

look all i’m saying is i’m picturing yall who said that as, like, a teenage nerd version of joan crawford, all walking into the ocean, dressed head to toe in bad Korra cosplay, with mascara running and wig askew
